Shannon McMurdo, President of Woodstone Builders LLC, has a robust 26-year career in the construction industry, beginning with carpentry and advancing to a BS in Construction Management from Missouri State University. Founded in 1999, Woodstone Builders has established a reputation for ethical practices and successful project execution across commercial, residential, and resort sectors, completing over 150 projects worth more than $350 million. Shannon’s extensive experience as an estimator, designer, and project manager, along with continuous education in construction management, has positioned Woodstone as a leader in the development of premier resort communities, notably Stormy Point Village at Table Rock Lake. His commitment to quality, integrity, and innovation drives the company’s success and fosters a dedicated team that embraces new materials and designs.
Kirk Ashlock
Vice President Construction/Operations
Kirk Ashlock, with 17 years at Woodstone Builders and a lifelong connection to the construction industry, brings a wealth of experience from his work in architecture and design. A graduate of Central Missouri State University, he spent a decade at a local architectural firm before playing a crucial role in Woodstone’s management, overseeing negotiations, estimating, project management, and preliminary construction design. Known for his fairness and high standards of integrity, Kirk has built strong relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors while actively contributing to the company’s overall operations.
